About the Practice
I, Lorena Tinoco, MD, am excited to open my doors and welcome you to my new state-of-the-art obstetrics and gynecology private practice located in South Miami where the patient’s well-being and satisfaction are my sole inspiration.
I believe in practicing excellent medicine by using innovation and technology, but also by giving my patients direct access to me. I also believe that providing continuity of care with the same doctor, a doctor that knows you and cares for you, is key to a successful health outcome.
In my practice, I intend to dedicate all my time, education and effort to help my patients with their health needs and also to obtain an outstanding patient-doctor relationship where patients feel they are being heard and not treated like just one more.
As a female bilingual OB/GYN doctor, I can deeply understand and connect with woman's needs of different cultures. I help women of all ages and stages from gynecology to pregnancy, office procedures, menopause, and also cosmetics. Come and experience the best professional, personalized, and compassionate care.

About Dr. Tinoco
Dr Lorena Tinoco was raised in Venezuela where she earned her medical degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela with honors. After relocating to the United States, she completed a competitive residency training in obstetrics and Gynecology at Temple University in Philadelphia where she received recognition of outstanding merit, an accomplishment in research. Because offering high quality medical care is important to Dr Tinoco, she went on to become board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Moreover, her special interest in menopause and hormone treatments, motivated Dr Tinoco to obtain a certification by the North American Menopause Society. She is now a Menopause specialist and one of the few certified practitioners in her area. Dr Tinoco is both fluent, in English and Spanish. She is an associate professor at Florida International University, a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association.
